So what is the simple secret to marketing?  What one thing makes the difference between money and no money?  Just just this one thing---

The Hot Dog Stand Model-  yep the hot dog stand!  I attended a workshop on marketing that asked this one question; "If you could have just one thing to sell your hot dogs in  hot dog stand what would it be?"

Hands went up , people yelled out answers such as;  a great location, the best hot dogs ever, the fastest cooking dogs in town......the speaker told them all they were DEAD WRONG!  A hush of silence filled the room.  Then the speaker said, if I could have just one thing to sell my hot dogs it would be-

HUNGRY PEOPLE!

Think of it this way. You can have a great location selling the best juiciest, fastest made, inexpensive hot dogs ever on the planet, but if your crowd is a demographic of Jewish Vegetarian Rabbi's....guess what?  You are not selling ANYTHING!

Conversely, you can have worst,  slimy, over priced hot dogs on a desert island full of starving people with a few bucks, and they will give you the shirts of their backs and money in their wallet to get just one of those nasty hot dogs.  Why I bet  they would even want 2 or 3!

So what does this mean?  Think about it....if you find the right crowd, you can sell them what they need and they will buy it.

So, really the concept is simple--- FIND THE NEED, FIND THE DESIRE, CLAIM THE NICHE!

My Affiliate Marketing Story

When I fist began my journey into affiliate marketing and online marketing my head swooned with information.  Not only was there so much information coming at me, most of it, after a really drawn out introduction , would in the end just be a affiliate pitch for someone else.

I sifted through websites, blogs, forums, and ad pages. All I wanted was a step by step easy to use user friendly basic 101 that would not cost me.  I was not ready to invest $50 per month to just see if this worked for me.  I had technical skills, some marketing skills, and was eager to make money not spend money!

Now, I understand the old cliche' you have spend money to make money, which makes sense and is all well and good, however when I first started out I did not have money to spend!  I was single mom worked a below average job for a low wage struggling just to p ay rent each month.  The last thing I need was to sing-up for a "free" trail offer then have a monthly reoccurring fee I could not get of my card.  I had to be very careful with what money I had and use it wisely.

I became so discouraged, page after web page that promised to teach me affiliate marketing was simple and ad for an an affiliate pushing some system.  Do not get me wrong, programs and systems can be great and I had made myself a promise that when I had the means to join one of these Master Affiliate Program I would, however I just simply could not do that when I started out.  So what could I do?

Well, I studied the gurus, I joined every free forum I could. I read, I watched, and I developed my own Free to start up program.  I made becoming a master of free affiliate programs my business.  I watched trends,  did YouTube, joined groups, and finally I did what needed to be done.  I simple did it!

Yep that is right, it is that simple.  Like the popular shoe brand "Just Do It"!.

Now, "Just Do It" is not as easy or simple as it may sound, and yet is is.  To make the decision 'To Just Do It"  is simple, the work it takes to "get 'er done"  is not so easy.  Then again, most good things do not come easy and the same can said for making money online.

Why am I telling you this?  Because I want to share what I learned with you! I want help you a void the brain fog I had and get right into the "Just Do It"  frame of mind.
